🔑 Key Insights from Transformation of Teaching & Learning with AI
🎓 AI in education is growing quickly.
The global AI-in-education market grew from $5.18 billion in 2024 to $7.57 billion in 2025 — a 46% increase in one year.👩🏫 Faculty use is rising, but still limited.
About 61% of faculty report using AI in teaching, but 88% of those users say their use is still minimal.🤝 The best results come from thoughtful design.
In a McIntire study of 356 students across 6 conditions, the strongest results came from group work + a custom RAG tutor, while generic chatbots performed worst.
The next step is thoughtful integration.
Curriculum must prioritize “durable skills” alongside AI readiness — ensuring tools don’t widen the literacy gap.
